Fenner Murphy Harrison Jr. was born February 17, 1950, to Fenner Murphy Sr. and Mary Ada Owen Harrison. He passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his wife Tina on June 7, 2024, at their home in Clinton, Utah.
Fenner grew up in Plain City, Utah with his parents and siblings Patricia, Maryanne and John. He graduated from the old Weber High School. After High school, in 1969, he joined the Air Force during that time he married Margaret Pennington they had one son Jacob and one daughter Mary. They were later divorced.
He worked at Hill Air Force Base as a Sheet Metal Supervisor. There he met his current wife, Tina Byrns. She brought a son to their marriage, Justin Byrns (Randi).
Fenner retired in 2008 and was able to then enjoy all of his grandkids. Always the gentleman, he enjoyed and helped his wife decorate during the holidays. He loved Blues music and was quite the artist.
Fenner is survived by his wife Tina of Clinton, his brother John (Shawn) of Kansas, his son Jacob of Ogden, his daughter Mary (James) Rodriguez of Roy, stepdaughter Randi Bigler of Clearfield, Kylee Bigler of Clearfield, grandkids Gavin and Gabriella Byrns, Aillianna Moala, Jayken Harrison, Isaac, Jada, Lucas, and Fenix Rodriguez.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Patricia and Maryanne, his in-laws Robert and Mary Byrns and his stepson Justin Byrns.
Funeral services will be held Friday June 14, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Lindquist Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah. Friends may visit with family prior to the services from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
Interment-Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton.
