Fernedith Jones

Layton – Fernedith Jones, 88, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 25, 2017 at her home.

She was born on January 6, 1929 the daughter of Fred and Allie McQueen Black.

She retired from the HAFB Restaurant and received many awards for her excellent service.

Fernedith was a member of the LDS Church and served as Young Womens President.

Surviving are Don Hicks her dear friend of many years and her children Connie Lomax, Herb Jones, Debbie Vinson, Malynda Potter,  Kirk Jones, Kyle Jones, 19 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her daughter Melanie and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield.  Friends may visit family Friday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
