LAYTON a€" Flora M. Gutierrez, 75, passed away Sunday July 12, 2009 at her home.

She was born May 6, 1934 in Chama, New Mexico the daughter of Juan and Reynalda Quintana Martinez.

Flora married Harold F. Gutierrez on August 4, 1951 in Chama, New Mexico.

Surviving are two sons, Sonny (Kathy) Gutierrez, Roy; John Gutierrez, Layton; daughters, Rosemary (Mike) Chavez, El Paso, TX; Toni Prioletti, Layton; Patricia (Glen) Kibbe, Las Vegas, NV; Theresa Gutierrez, North Ogden; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, a special nephew Joseph Gutierrez, Layton; five brothers, Raymond Martinez, Lompoc, CA; Cano Martinez, Midwest, OK; Manuel Martinez, Chama, NM; Tino Quintana, Albuquerque, NM; and Felix Martinez, Washington D.C.

Preceded in death by her husband, and two siblings, Mary Laundry and Robert Martinez.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 17, 2009 at 9 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 South Chapel Street. Friends and family may call Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Prayer service at 7 p.m.
