OGDEN a€" Flora LeAnn Newey, 79, died Friday, June 4, 2010 at Ogden Regional Medical Center.

She was born September 2, 1930 in Ogden, a daughter of Bertley Kenneth and Phoebe Mathias Keyes.

LeAnn married Delbert J. Newey on January 20, 1950 in Preston, Idaho.

She graduated from high school and began working as a bookkeeper for the Ogden Clinic, retiring after many years of service.

LeAnn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathy Jackman and Deborah Flores, 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Kay Reinacher and Donna Rue Mortensen.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert J. "Shorty" Newey, and one son, David Newey.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.

Family will meet with friends at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
