Flora Busico Palmieri

SOUTH OGDEN–Flora Busico Palmieri, 97, passed away December 10, 2022, at home. She was born March 11, 1925, in Tooele, Utah to Giovanni “John” Busico and Pasqualina Petitti. She graduated from Ogden High School.

Flora met her husband Fred, and they were married June 5, 1948, in Ogden, Utah.

She was active in the Catholic Church. She loved her family, cooking, and crossword puzzles. She worked at Paramont Dairy, HAFD, and Delmed from which she retired.

Flora is survived by her son, John (Gaylene) Palmieri; daughter, Christine (Richard) Goff; 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother and two sisters.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks not to send flowers and consider donations to Alzheimer’s Association.

The family wishes to thank Valeo Hospice for the care they gave to Flora.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
