Florence Esther Rivers Beal

Florence Esther Rivers Beal, our beloved mother, was born March 29, 1936 in Ingerham, New York. She went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2012. She passed away from heart complications. Florence was a strong, vivacious woman who served in the United States Air Force as a physical therapist and was also an honor guard for President Eisenhower. After leaving the Air Force she opened two physical therapy clinics, one in Izmir, Turkey and another in Plattsburgh, NY. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was very active in church and serving the Lord. She told us all in words and actions "You cannot out give the Lord". Every person was a new friend she had not met yet. Florence is survived by her daughter Tammy (Ken) Archer, two grandchildren, Jonathan (Crystal) and Kristen Archer; sisters, Eleanor, Beckie, and Lois and brothers, Frank, Everest, Charlie & Kevin.

She is preceded in death by her husband Roger.

Her family and friends will truly miss this strong prayer warrior of God. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at the Rosewood Church of the Nazarene, 455 S. Rosewood Lane, Layton, UT with Pastor Joel Gay officiating.

Cremation entrusted to Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. The family requests no flowers. Instead send your gift to your favorite charity in her honor.
