Floyd F. Hansen
KAYSVILLE – Floyd F. Hansen, 84, passed away Tuesday April 14, 2009 in Holladay.
He was born January 21, 1925 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin the son of Nis Christian and Margaret Borisch Hansen.
Floyd married Shirley Vroqua Davies on August 23, 1977 where their marriage was solemnized in the Ogden Temple.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II stationed in the Pacific and retired from Boeing.
Floyd was an active member of the LDS Church and served for two years as an ordinance worker in the LDS Temple.
Surviving are his wife Shirley Hansen, children: Wayne Hansen, Vroqua King, Floyd Hansen Jr., Patsy King, Bruce Hansen, Juanita Arigno, Joanna Benney, grandson, Dylan King, granddaughter, Amara King, brother, Milton Hansen.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the Kaysville Ponds Park Ward, 200 East Burton Lane. Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main and Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment, Fillmore City Cemetery.
Dad will be missed by many who loved him. We will remember how caring he was of others and how much he loved his family. No one will ever forget his great sense of humor that made us laugh till we cried. We love you very much and we will see you again.
