Floyd A. Westover
I am sorry to say that I am no longer a cancer survivor. I was blessed to live longer than expected and for that I am grateful. I was glad I was given extra time to be with my loved ones, which I will miss very much.
I was born on April 13, 1955 the youngest child of Clark and Bernell Westover in Rexburg, Idaho. My family moved to Clearfield, Utah when I was five. This is where I grew up and graduated. In 1974 I married my sweetheart, Beverly Kimber. We were married 34 years.
We were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Angela and Kristy and I am proud of the men they married.
I lived my life my way. Life is full of calculated risks and I tried to live my life to the fullest. I owned and operated Westover Construction and was able to build my dream castle. My favorite job was being a “Bumpa.” I enjoyed my church callings, especially being in the scouts.
I am survived by Beverly my wife, two great daughters Angela (Robert) Hunter and Kristy (Mitchel) Boatright, my wonderful grandchildren Jacob and Kayla Hunter and Paige Boatright, my mother Bernell and siblings David, Robert, and Janine. I am also survived by two chosen families and many great friends.
I was preceded in death by my father Clark and my sister Carol.
