Together Again

Forrest James Schmidt passed away peacefully on December 7, 2017 at Ogden Regional Hospital.

He was born on March 31, 1930 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Priscilla Schmidt.

Forrest and Molly were married on February 13, 1949.  They were married for 63 years.  Molly passed away on October 5, 2012.  They were blessed with three wonderful and loving children: Jim (Patty) Schmidt, Milton, WA; Sue (Dave) Rupe, West Point, UT; Sandy (Aaron) Gunter, Boise, ID; Forrest and Molly were blessed with seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 3329 Harrison Blvd.  Friends may meet with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Saturday from 1 to 1:45 p.m. at the church.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff at the George E. Wahlen Ogden Veteran’s Home for the loving care they gave Forrest.  He thoroughly enjoyed their friendship.
