Frances Brophy Hadley

Frances Brophy Hadley, 52, died at the home of her daughter, Shawna, on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, from Melanoma cancer.

She was born April 19, 1958 to Philip and Betty Brophy in Ogden, Utah. She graduated from Weber High School.

Frances married her "cowboy", Lonnie J. Hadley on April 21, 1978. Together they had three daughters, Shawna (Kyle) Lister, of Eagle Mountain, Kara (Lavier) Daley and Ashley (Zeke) Bishop, Ogden. Lonnie preceded her in death on December 5, 1998.

She worked at St. Benedict''s Hospital before starting a long career with IRS. She moved to Orem and Lehi a few years ago, to follow her career.

Frances is survived by her daughters, and is "Nana" to L.J. and Weston Davies, Ty and Kenlee Daley, and Cash Bishop. They were her pride and joy. She is also survived by her father, sisters, Joanne Adams, Pat (Bob) Ropelato, Kathy (Joe) LeBlanc, Peggy (Bob) Smith, Mary (Tim) Ellis and Brother Ed (Lori) Brophy, her in-laws, Jay and Elda Hadley, brother-in-law, Lex (Joetta) Hadley and sisters-in-law, Lynette (Larry) Sanders, and Leah (Travis) Stimpson and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, and grandparents, Ed and Annette Brophy.

Thanks to the many friends and family who stood by her. Also thanks to Hearts for Hospice in American Fork. We love and will miss you. Rest in peace.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 7th at 10 a.m. at St. Mary''s Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven (Ogden).

Friends may visit the family on Monday, September 6th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South, Roy, Utah.

Interment, West Weber Cemetery.
