Frances Laurene Miller Call, 80, passed away peacefully on the morning of Monday, February 3, 2025. She was born on December 3, 1944, in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Fred Extrom and Helen Arnold Miller. She grew up in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School Class of 1963.
She married Rex Lamoine Call on August 29, 1970, in Elko, Nevada. They celebrated 54 wonderful years together.
Frances worked at Defense Depot Ogden as an order filler.
She enjoyed golfing, bowling, camping at Bear Lake, and watching game shows. She especially loved spending time with her family.
Frances is survived by her husband, Rex; daughter, Steffanie (John) Gallegos; four grandchildren, Amber Gallegos, Aubree (Victor) Esquivel, Tara Gallegos, and Garrett Gallegos; eight great-grandchildren, Gabriel Gallegos, X’Zavier Esquivel, Diego Esquivel, Zabian Esquivel, Gavin Gallegos, Dominic Gallegos, Damien Esquivel, and Ava Gallegos; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepson, Richard L. Call; and sister, Helen Ann (Ray) Mount.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
