Frances Sandall Morton

Frances Sandall Morton, after a long battle with life, passed away on December 17, 2008. She was to have been 93 on December 31st.

She was the fifth child of a family of seven born to John Willard and Millie Staggie Sandall in Kaysville. She was preceded in death by all of these except her youngest sister Gerrie.

She was married to Orval Smith (Bus) Morton on June 3, 1936 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They had one son, Stan (Pam). She was especially proud of her three grandchildren, Jason (Angie), Jared, and Whitney (Andy) and her four great-grandchildren. She had a special relationship with her grandson, Jared, who provided loving care for her during the final years of her life.

She lived her entire life in Kaysville, but her spirit was carried to many parts of the world by her family, whom she ruled from her chair in her front room. In her later years she gained an extended family with the addition of Pam''s two children and their growing families.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main. Friends and family may call Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
