SOUTH OGDEN a€" Frances Fumiko Tsukamoto, 91, died Thursday, October 22, 2009 at a local care center of causes incident to age.

She was born October 4, 1918 in LaJunta, Colorado, a daughter of Yoshigoro and Ishi Takeo Endo, the oldest of eight children. She was raised in Colorado, later moving to Davis County where she graduated from Davis High School. In 1952, Frances married Charles Tsuneo Tsukamoto in Ogden.

Frances was a member of the Ogden Japanese Christian Church.

She and her husband farmed together and operated Tsukamoto''s Produce. In her later years she was a seamstress and tailor in Ogden.

Frances loved to spend time with her family. She also loved her sweets.

Surviving are her husband of South Ogden; two daughters, Karen (Tom) Gammiere, San Diego, CA; Lori (Michael) Mitchell, Downers Grove, IL; and four grandchildren, Ty and Zac Gammiere and Reilly and Casey Mitchell.

Also surviving are three brothers and three sisters, Mits Endo and Takeo Endo, both of Clearfield; Junior (Ruby) Endo, Layton; Shizue Endo, Salt Lake City; Aiko (Wilson) Ogata, Culver City, CA; and Inez (Nelson) Kitagawa, Los Angeles, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Yukio.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., the Reverend Jill Minnich officiating.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday 10 to 11 a.m.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Children''s Aid Society or the Alzheimer''s Association.
