Francis Hougaard

RIVERDALE- Our beloved mother, Francis Hougaard, 96, passed away on September 14, 2012. She was born on November 18, 1915 in Taylorsville, Kentucky, a daughter to Elza and Sarah Elizabeth Strange Quire.

Francis married William Edward Dickey, and they were later divorced. She then married Howard Hougaard on April 8, 1961 in Elko, Nevada. They were later sealed in the Ogden LDS Temple. Howard passed away May 26, 1996.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, camping and fishing. She loved traveling with her husband Howard.

Francis is survived by her daughters, Mildred Tucker, LouDean (Eddie) Albert, Betty (Jack) Talbot, and Kathleen Reedy; son Joe Dickey; brother Ambrose Quire; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband; parents; son Bill Dickey; daughter Margaret Parsons; grandsons Lloyd Dickey, Kevin Hale, Robert Woodyatt, and Rodney Jeppsen; granddaughters Amber Woodyatt and Rebecca Dickey; one great-great-grandson, five brothers, and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd., South Ogden.
