Early Saturday Morning on July 23, 2011 in Gilbert, AZ, The Chief Servant commanded one of His earthly servants to serve no more and to report for duty from labor to reward.

Deacon Frank Ranold Brooks, Jr, 87, of Chandler, AZ transitioned from this life to a new life of eternal promise and heavenly bliss.

He was born December 13, 1923 in Lexington, MO, the eldest son to the late Frank R, and Marie Taylor Brooks.

He moved to Utah during the 1940''s where he met and married the love of his life, Oretha B Owens Brooks, on December 4, 1946 whom he shared sixty four years of marriage until her passing. From this union were born three sons and four daughters. He and his wife resided in both Holladay and Ogden, UT before moving to Chandler AZ. He worked for over 40 years and retired from the Union Pacific Railroad in 1984. While working for the Union Pacific Railroad he owned several businesses including a cafAC. named the "The Colonial Grill" and co owned a barbeque restaurant with his four brothers. His most successful business venture was H & F maintenance where he partnered with his good friend the late Homer Reed.
