Franklin D. Holm
Franklin D. Holm, beloved husband, father and friend finished his journey in this life on January 22, 2013. He is, at last, free and at peace.
Frank was born on March 11, 1934, in Provo, UT to John Franklin and Doradean Holm.
He graduated from Provo High School; served in the Army for two years in Korea, returned home to work at HAFB until retirement; worked another 10 years at ZCMI till he retired again.
Frank married Frances Judd on June 17, 1966. They had 46 wonderful years together, two children: Margaret Shoop of Clinton, John Holm of Layton, and five grandchildren.
Frank was an avid outdoorsman. Hunting and fishing were his passion. In his late 60's he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. He moved to Rocky Mountain Care Center, in Clearfield in October of 2008 till his death. Our family is grateful to the staff of RMCCC and to those from Rocky Mountain Hospice who cared so compassionately for Frank.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Clearfield Community Church, 200 S. 500 E. Luncheon will be served following the service.
