LAYTON a€" Franklin DeVon Ottley, 76, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2010.

He was born October 5, 1933 in Salt Lake City the son of Clifton Mills and Alta Parish Ottley.

Franklin served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from HAFB as an Aircraft Electrician.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, working on cars and spending time with his extended family and friends at the Stockmans.

Surviving are his son Kurt (Tamara) Ottley, Ogden; daughter, Danielle Hinze, Panama City Beach, FL; step-sons, Stacy (Laura) Malone, So. Ogden; Derick Malone, step-daughter, Haleena Malone, Layton; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and brother, Barry Ottley, Colorado Springs, CO.

Preceded in death by wife, Ruth Arline Malone and brother Conrad M. Ottley.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
