Franklin D. Wayment
ROY a" Franklin D. Wayment, 72, died Friday, June 26, 2009 at Crestwood Care Center in Ogden from complications of West Nile Virus.
He was born March 5, 1937 in Taylor, a son of Elmo Glen and Maurine Green Wayment.
On January 5, 1965, Frank married Arlene Croft in Plain City, UT.
He served his country with the U.S. Army.
Frank was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in several church callings in the Taylor 2nd Ward and Logandale, Nevada Ward.
He retired from the Union Pacific Railroad following 42 years of service as a switchman and conductor.
Frank loved to farm and raise cattle. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and enjoyed temple work.
Surviving are his wife, Arlene, of Roy; his children, Randy (Fralane) Mitchell, Taylor; Janet Stone, Roy; Kelly Mitchell, California; Lori Wayment, Ogden; Wayne Wayment, Roy; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Also surviving are one brother, Slim Wayment, Fallon, NV; and three sisters, Donna Liljenquist, Kaysville; Marceen (Don) Montgomery, Liberty, UT; and Jody (Glen) Shields, Kansas.
Preceding Frank in death were his parents and two sons, Wayne and Lynn Mitchell.

Friends may call at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South on Wednesday, July 1st from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, July 2nd from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11 a.m.
Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
