NORTH OGDEN a€" Fred Thomas Doutre passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010 from the side effects of chemotherapy.

Fred was born September 20, 1946 in Tremonton, Utah, the son of Lela and Edward Doutre. He lived on the family farm in Blue Creek during his early years, then moved to Tremonton. Fred married Kathy Lynn Peterson in Tremonton. They had twin sons, which they raised together. They were later divorced.

Fred worked at Defense Depot Ogden and Hill Air Force Base as a supply systems analyst. He retired in May of 2003. He also served with the U.S. Army Reserves.

Fred especially enjoyed coaching his twin sons and grandson in Little League Football. He coached his sons through numerous winning seasons and three Mini Bowl Championships. He, Ken and Kerry, coached his grandson to an undefeated championship in 2008.

He loved water skiing and snow skiing with his sons while they were growing up. Fred enjoyed hunting with his sons, grandson and other family members. He loved golfing with his kids, and in his Men''s Association Leagues. He especially enjoyed golfing with his buddy Frank Hall. He was very proud of his Hole-in-One he shot with his sons. Fred, his sons and grandson were avid trap shooters. He looked forward to dinners with Marcia and his once a month lunch dates with his friends at Hill AFB. (Thanks for being such good friends). Dad was the best friend and neighbor anyone could have. All summer long he would barbeque for the entire neighborhood. In the winter he got on his four-wheeler and pushed snow for dozens of friends.

Fred was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and enjoyed his callings as an Assistant Cub Master.

He was an amazing grandfather. His grandkids enjoyed many sleep over''s with their Grandpa. Fred attended nearly all the Little League Football, Baseball, Basketball, and Soccer games.
