FRED PALMIERI

SOUTH OGDEN- Fredrick Louis Palmieri, 86, passed away on November 10, 2011 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born January 1, 1925 in Derby, CT to Giovanni "John" and Theresa Giordano Palmieri.

Fred met his future wife Flora in an Italian family restaurant in San Francisco. They were married on June 5, 1948 in Ogden, Utah. He lived his adult life in South Ogden.

He was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter #4.

Fred was an avid golfer, loved landscaping his yard and especially his roses.

He is survived by his wife Flora, son John (Gaylene) Palmieri, daughter Christine "Tina" (Richard) Goff, Denver, Co. He is also survived by 7 grandchildern and 16 great-grandchildren as well as many nephews and nieces.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

Funeral mass will be held on Thursday November 17, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1100 E. 5500 S., South Ogden.

Family will meet with friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary 3408 Washington Blvd. and Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
