Frieda Montoya

Frieda Hofmann Montoya passed away peacefully, in her Layton home, surrounded by her family on May 24th 2019.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Henry Montoya and two grandchildren Hank and Melissa.

She is survived by her two children, Monika Smith and Lothar Heinen (Heidi), as well as eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren, who will miss her lipstick kisses, potato salad, and making fun of the way she would speak with her thick German accent.

We will say our final goodbyes on Saturday, June 1st 2019 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
