Gabriel Isaiah Aguilar Gonzales
October 26, 2003 ~ October 19, 2019
With deepest sorrow we announce that our dearly beloved Gabriel Isaiah Aguilar Gonzales, age 15, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2019. His last days on Earth were spent at Primary Children’s Hospital. He stayed in a coma and was surrounded by loving family and friends who prayed endlessly for his ability to awake.
He was born on October 26, 2003 in Washington Terrace, Utah. His parents are his mother Adriana Laura Baez, his adoptive father Abraham Aguilar, and his biological father John Jesus Gonzales. Their co-parenting made it possible to have each of his parents present in his life. Gabe was fortunate to have a loving blended family that showed him so much love and affection in his lifetime.
Gabe was a free spirit, full of courage, confidence, and he always showed kindness. He had a fearless personality and would always try new things without hesitation. He was always so happy to go on family trips whether it was swimming in the ocean or to simply go camping.
His natural abilities in sports made him an excellent athlete. He competed in basketball, baseball, and football. His passion was running long distance and his personal best was six miles in 50 minutes. When he was in school he once showed an interest in dance club in which he proudly performed on stage. His most recent interests at school were in computers and he also loved the aspects of nutrition class.
Like most teenage boys, Gabe enjoyed online gaming. He loved to play Overwatch, Minecraft, Fortnite, and Guitar Hero. He also loved silly videos and sharing them with his Mom.
Gabe was adored by his siblings and friends. They loved his fun personality; they looked up to him and were so happy to be a part of his life. He showed a never-ending love for dogs and he would fawn over any dog he met. It was such a heartwarming sight to see him so happy and full of light when he was surrounded by family and friends during holidays, birthdays, and celebrations.
Gabe will be remembered for his kindness towards others. He was a gentle and loving boy whose life ended far too early and we are all heartbroken for the loss of out loved one. We will forever cherish Gabe’s beautiful spirit.
Gabriel is survived by his parents, Adriana Laura Baez, Abraham Aguilar, and John Jesus Gonzales; siblings, Angel, Nickolo, Danailie, Abriana, Aaron, Abigail, Juan, Jocelyn, Izabella, and Alicia; grandparents, Miguel and Adriana Baez, Reinalda Bostain, Alfredo Aguilar, Augustin Castaneda, and Cleta Carmen Gonzales.
