Gail Street Lee, 86, our sweet loving husband, Amazing Dad, fun loving grandpa passed away Friday, September 28, 2007 at McKay-Dee Hospital of complications due to a stroke.

He was born October 8, 1920 to Maurice Clyde and Sarah Leora Lee in Coalville, Utah. Gail married Genevieve Farr on May 16, 1945 in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a loving husband and father. He was devoted to serving his family and friends. He was genuinely loved by all who knew him.

Gail was a faithful member of the LDS Church. He served in many callings including Bishopric Counselor, Exec. Secretary, Elders Quorum President, Sunday School President and YMIA President. Gail and Genevieve served a full time LDS California San Diego Mission at the Mormon Battalion Visitors Center 1984-1986.

Gail worked for the Federal Government at various air bases, retiring from Hill Air Force Base after 29 years of service in 1976. He also worked at Smiths''s Grocery for 22 years, retiring in 1982. He was known as the fun checker who always said, "Your total is this much and then we will add so much for the Governor." He loved being with his family camping and hunting. He was a great tease and everyone loved being around him.

Surviving are Genevieve, his loving wife of 62 years, of Clinton; three sons: Richard (Jeanne), Clinton; Kent (Margie), Clinton; Brian (Melissa), West Point; two daughters: Cheryle (Ken) Mitchell, Clinton; Shauna (Kelley) Hill, Sunset; 31 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, with two more on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Max and Dean, sister Maxine Southern and twin great-granddaughters.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Clinton North 11th Ward, 1800 N. 1448 W. Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S. and one hour prior to services at the church.

Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.

A special thanks to McKay-Dee Hospital staff on the third and fifth floors for amazing care and kindness in Dad''s last days of his life.
