Gary Dalton Beazer
"Gramps"
Gary Dalton Beazer passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Davis Hospital and Medical Center from complications after surgery.
He was born October 12, 1936 to Roy and Audrey Beazer.
Gary married Norma Bushman on September 24, 1954. They have four children: Debbie (Kevin) Porter, Ginger (Steve) Johnson, Guy (Colleen) Beazer, Sandi (Lynn) Glauser, 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren with three more on the way. Also surviving are his brother Paul Beazer and sister Connie O''Brien Tolman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Layne and Gordon Beazer, sister, Leona Frahm and great-granddaughter, Kolby Glauser.
Gary was a brick mason for 40 years.
Right after 9/11 Gary made flag poles for all his neighbors, friends and family to display flags. It bothered him to see tattered flags so he would often deliver a new replacement flag. He loved to garden and won many awards for his beautiful yard. His family loved how his veggies came picked, cleaned and delivered; he often said, "They grew that way".
Gary was famous for his yummy homemade soup. He gave coin collections to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved reading the Book of Mormon with Rachael, hangin with his buddies, Christmas Eve and crab legs with his whole family, his golf cart, fishing, hunting, camping, boating, being outdoors, leaning on his rake wheel fence at the end of the day, Sunday nights with ice cream and grandkids and being a "ward" teacher. He enjoyed a nice warm fire and playing solitaire. Dad was never idle and was always working on a project. He was always serving and helping others. More than anything he loved being with Norma, the love of his life. You hardly ever saw one without the other. The kids would like to thank our mom for her constant tender loving care of our dad.
He was a wonderful husband, dad, gramps, great-grandpa, brother, uncle and friend.
