Ruth Alice Robins Dye passed away on October 19, 2022. Ruth was born on November 27, 1933, to William Day Robins and Vera Ilene Flint Robins in Ogden Utah.

 

Gary Gilbert Dye Sr. passed away on October 20, 2022. Gary was born on March 4,  1934 to Gilbert Dye and Marguerite Lillian Mildon Dye in Ogden Utah.

 

Gary and Ruth Dye married on August 11, 1956. They shared a TRUE LOVE story that lasted until their final goodbye. Their love will continue to foster generations to come.

Goodbye may seem forever. Farewell is like the end, but in your hearts is our memories and there they will always be.

 

Ruth had an accomplished 25-year career with the Department of the Airforce. Specializing in logistics command and inventory management. At the peak of Ruth’s career, she managed the logistics of the F -16 Lay-in project, retiring shortly after.

 

Gary had a lifelong career with the US Military. After joining the United States Navy and serving as an airman first class Mechanic. After his service in the Navy Gary joined the United States Airforce. Where he dedicated 38 years of service. Through multiple active-duty reports, he was a true definition of a Patriot. Gary retired as a Senior Master Sergeant in 1994.

 

Gary and Ruth shared many memories with Family and Friends while camping, fishing, boating, gardening and living part of their retirement in Las Vegas, Nevada.

 

Gary and Ruth are survived by their children; Susan (Richard), Allison (Edward), and Gary Jr. grandchildren Jo (Anita), Levi, Candice, Stephen, Michael, Sam, Jamie, Joey, Brandon (Morgan), and Raelyn. great grandchildren Rose (Jordan), Clayton, Emmett, Zofia, Asher, Ronin, Venture G and one great-great-granddaughter Ellalyn Ruth.

 

Proceeded in Death by many loved ones including their three daughters Gloria, Robin & Margie and their great grandson Oliver.

 

The family will be having a Celebration of Life at Gary and Ruth’s house on Saturday November 19, 2022, at 1:00pm Location: 2181 S. 725 E. Clearfield, Utah 84015

 

Graveside Services will be held on Monday Nov 21, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at  Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd., Ogden, Utah.

 

Cremation Care entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.
