Gary Edward Frey

GARY EDWARD FREY Gary was born December 14, 1946 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to Dorothy Dean and Jerrold Leroy Frey. He passed away May 18, 2009 at the age of 62 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Gary was successful at anything he put his mind to. He won the 1965 High School Tennis championship representing Custer High School. After high school he attended the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh where he met some of his lifelong friends. Gary had a talent for painting and in the late 1960’s, Gary established a successful business in Milwaukee involving his love for motorcycles under the name of Fancy Colours. In the late 70’s and early 80’s, Gary became a dealer for Harley Davidson in Cheyenne and Casper Wyoming. Eventually Gary settled in Las Vegas where his family resided at that time. He became a successful salesman for Ford working for several dealerships in the Las Vegas area earning many awards as a top salesman. Gary was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Last year, Gary was ordained an Elder in the Church and loved his calling as a Sunday school teacher to the youth of the Spring Valley Ward. Gary is survived by his mother, Dorothy Frey Asay Bountiful, UT; sister Wilma Rae (Glenn) Meier Mesa, AZ; brother Wade Arthur (Glenna) Bountiful, UT; 9 nephews; 1 niece; and his best friend Sharon Baganz. Gary was preceded in death by his father. Our heartfelt thanks go to the members of the Spring Valley Ward for looking after and showing so much love for our Son and Brother. We will miss Gary for his great wit and all of his special interests that he exposed many of us to. Funeral Services will be held at the graveside 2:00pm Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 S. 200 W.
