Gary & Jessica Lucero On the 5th day of November 2012, our beautiful and loving Jessica and Gary left us. Gary and Jessica were married on June 16, 2001. Gary Lee Lucero was born on January 9, 1971 in Augsburg, Germany to Jose Lee and Della Esquibel Lucero. Jessica Ann Marie Gallegos was born on January 17, 1973 in Ogden, Utah to Toni Prioletti and George Gallegos. Gary and Jessica were employed at Hill Air Force Base, Gary an Aircraft Supervisor and Jessica an Electrical Technician. Gary was a dedicated coach and Jessica the dedicated team Mom. Gary and Jessica were devoted and loving parents to Braxton, Victoria and Gabriel and spent all their family time involved in their activities. They were a fun loving family and were an active family in many community events. Gary and Jessica were always there to volunteer and to help make a difference. Gary and Jessica are survived by their children Braxton, Victoria and Gabriel, Jessica’s parents, Toni Prioletti, Layton; George and Elaine Gallegos, SLC; brother Anthony Gallegos (Alicia) Babinsky, Layton; sisters; Reyna and Andrea Vigil, SLC; and special friend, Lindsey Thorstad, Montana. Gary was preceded in death by his parents Jose Lee and Della Esquibel Lucero and is survived by his step-mother, Carla M. Lucero, sisters, Joyce (Bart) Ahlf, North Ogden; Cyndy VanNattan, Clearfield; Debbie (Mike) Perry, SLC; Angela (Chuck) Monaghan, Mountain Home, ID; many nieces and nephews and a large extended family. The Lucero children and family would like to thank the community for their overwhelming love and kindness. Many loved Gary and Jessica and we as a family are blessed by your friendships. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. In lieu of flowers family suggest donations be made to the Gary and Jessica Lucero fund at any America First Credit Union.
