Gary Dean Mathews

Gary Dean Mathews OGDEN – Gary Dean Mathews, 54, passed away Monday, November 10, 2008 in Ogden, Utah where he resided. He was born on March 13, 1954 in Alton, Illinois to Athea Lea Anderson (Low) and Paul Lavern Mathews. He was raised by his mom and step father Vaden R. Low. He attended the Visalia School District in California. He recently moved to Utah from Illinois to be close to his sister, Julie. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Gary is survived by mother and step-father, brother Doug (Patti) Mathews of Fresno, CA; sisters, Janet (Frank) Martin of Tulare, California, Lynn O’Dell of Pixley, California, and Julie (Larry) Caldwell of Ogden, Utah. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great niece and great nephews and several close and loving friends. His family will always remember Gary as “Slow walkin sam”.
