Gary Glen Sherman

Gary Glen Sherman, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 at his home in Bountiful, Utah.

He was born January 21, 1939 in Beatrice, Nebraska the son of Glen and Evelyn Cook Sherman.

He married Linda Loth together they had three children and were later divorced.  He married Jane Anderson in 2003.

Gary graduated from Hastings High School and Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska.  He was a sales rep for Amoco Oil for 40 years and also a sales rep for CBS Network in Sioux City, Iowa.

Gary was a huge Nebraska Cornhuskers fan.   He lived in Le Mars, Iowa for nine years and in Bountiful, Utah the last 4 ½ years.

He is survived by his wife Jane, sons Steve (Michelle) Sherman,  Denver, CO; Samuel “Rob” Sherman, Lincoln, NE; daughter Susan (Ed) Hennessy, Sacramento, CA; step-son Lyon (Debra) Anderson, Johnson, KS; step-daughter Lyndee (Curt) Staab, Carthage, MO and eleven grandchildren.  He is also survived by two brothers Gale (Linda) Sherman, Omaha, NE; Gordon (Sherri) Sherman, Hayes, KS and sister Gloria (Bob) Englund, Minneapolis, MN.

Memorial services were held Monday, March 6, 2017.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary.  Memorial services will be held in Sioux City, Iowa at a later date.
