Genae Searle Lamb, 70, passed away on November 20, 2016 at her home in Layton, UT. She was born on May 20, 1946 in Long Beach, CA to Harold and Shirley Searle.
Genae graduated from Millikan High in Long Beach class of 1964. After high school she attended BYU in Provo, UT. She was a lifelong student studying massage therapy, hypnosis, reike, and many forms of alternative healing. She truly was a sweetheart. She was always helping others and sharing love and kindness.
She met her first husband Ron Gossling while attending BYU. They were married July 28 1966 in Los Angeles, CA. They had three sons, Greg, Todd, and Jon. They later divorced. She married Chuck Lamb on March 7 1977 in Long Beach, CA. They had two children, Cariann and Ryan. They later divorced.
Genae is survived by her sisters, Jacque (Howard) Melton, and Joyce (Mike) Thurman; Children Greg (Susan) Gossling, Todd Gossling, Cariann (Rob) Jacobsen, Ryan (Candice) Lamb; Nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Genae is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Shirley and her beloved son, Jon.
Genae touched more hearts than she could ever imagine. She will be deeply missed.
An informal (Casual) memorial service will be held Friday, November 25, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road, Layton, UT.
