Gene Raymond Sandman

Our brave husband, father, and friend finally lost his battle with cancer. He fought harder than anyone we have ever known. He didn’t want to leave his amazing wife, Lana, who took wonderful care of him; just like she did their son, Rhett. 

Gene lost his two sons, Rhett and Ryan and now he is holding them in his arms. 

He leaves behind his wife, Lana; three stepdaughters and their spouses; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; his sister, Wilma, who loved him dearly; as well as many nephews and nieces.  

To know Gene was to love him. He will be missed by many. 

A Celebration of Gene’s life will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Morgan Search and Rescue Building, 1010 Rifle Range Road. 

Cremation entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
