Gene Mack Stallings, age 83, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at his home in Eden. His wife of 58 years was by his side.
Mack was born to James “Jim” Ritter and Virginia Mae “Judy” McEntire Stallings on December 21, 1931. He was raised in the quiet farming community of Eden, living there his entire life.
Mack married Rena May Graham on February 24, 1956.

Mack was a great story teller using a very colorful vocabulary. He was quick with a good joke. He took pride in raising good Hereford Cattle, hay, fine oats, good dogs, and lots of hell.
