Our Heavenly Father gained his warrior home. Genesis King Anthony Rios was born on October 6, 2021. At 15 months he was abruptly taken from us from heart failure on January 9, 2023. Genesis touched many lives and had a village behind him. He beat the odds that the doctors gave him, no blindness or hearing loss.
Genesis will be deeply missed by all. He loved waking up at 5:30 ready to play. Some of his favorite things were, the taste of strawberry yogurt, snuggles with his mom, when music therapy came into his room, spending time with the nurses and making them laugh, bath time, his massive farts and poops, sitting up in his stroller, floor time, and best of all, taking out his trach.
Everyone is welcome to come even if you have never met Genesis. The colors are emerald, green.
Funeral services will be held Saturday February 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Layton Lindquist Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Friday February 3, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 12:00 to 1:30 at the mortuary.
