"TOGETHER FOREVER"

Genevieve Farr Lee, 89, much loved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away Monday, October 20, 2014 due to cause’s incident to age.

She was born March 10, 1925 in Binghamton, Arizona, a daughter of Erron W. Farr and Helen Mar Kimball.

On May 16, 1945, Genevieve married Gail Street Lee in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings including a full time mission, with Dad, at the Mormon Battalion Visitors Center in San Diego from 1984 – 1986.

Genevieve’s talents included painting, cake decorating, crocheting. She was an accomplished seamstress. She loved her family and a visit from grandchildren and great-grandchildren would make her day. She will be greatly missed.

Genevieve is survived by three sons, Richard (Jeanne), Clinton; Kent (Margie), Clinton; Brian (Debbie), West Point; two daughters, Cheryle (Ken) Mitchell, Clinton; Shauna (Kelley) Hill; Sunset; 38 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and one on the way. Also surviving are two brothers, Andrew (Pat) Farr, Lloyd (Helen) Farr; two sisters, Barbara (Frank) Romney, LaDawn Farr; and one brother-in-law, Dean Swensen.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, step-mother, Ruth Farr, two brothers, Melvin and Laretus Farr, two sisters, Margaret Allen, Georgianne Swensen and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 24th at 11 a.m. at the North Clinton Stake Center, 1448 West 1800 North. The family will meet with friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Stake Center.

Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.

The family would like to sincerely thank the wonderful staff at Country Pines Assisted Living, where Genevieve has been a resident for the last five years, for their tremendous love and kindness shown to our mother and our family. We also wish to thank the staff at Access Hospice, particularly Nicole, for the tender care and compassion given to Genevieve.
