George Louis Combe, Jr.

George Louis Combe, Jr., 74, passed away suddenly at his home in Roy, Utah, on January 4, 2017. He was born and raised in Uintah, Utah, on August 13, 1942, to George Louis and Catherine DeGroot.
He graduated from Weber High School in 1960. He was employed at Hill Air Force Base for 38 years, and retired in January 2005.
George enjoyed antique cars, John Deere tractors, old country music, Nascar racing, and his pet duck “Quacker”.
He married Coleen Bingham in 1963. They had five children and later divorced. He then married Lola Ann Johnson in 1978. They had one daughter.
George is survived by his wife, Lola; former spouse, Coleen; his children, Blake aka Scott, Blair (Deena), Coleen (David) Cline, Randy, Brenda (Rod) Netz, and Karla (Stephen) Mosher; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and six siblings, Clyde, Bud, Catherine, Brent, Dean, and Paul. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, sister, grandson, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was a fine husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed.
Friends may visit with family on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. A private family graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Uintah Cemetery, 2191 East 6650 South.
