George Bardsley Crompton, 25, our beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle and dear friend to all, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 3, 2010.

He was born October 28, 1984 in Seoul, Korea to David and June Crompton, while his father was there on assignment with the United States Army.

George loved working on cars, the outdoors, and hunting, but his true love in life was fishing. He never went anywhere without his fishing poles a€" just in case. He spent much time repairing friend''s and acquaintance''s cars for little or nothing and was always happy to do it. He also found great pleasure in scaring and pranking whomever he thought would fall for it and of course that meant tormenting his little nieces. He was completely devoted to his friends and family, especially taking such great care of his three sisters.

It was never long after meeting George that you were no longer strangers but had become friends. George was a great man and he will be deeply missed by anyone who has had the privilege of knowing him.

George is survived by his father and mother, David and June Crompton, grandparents, George and Bernice Crompton, sisters, Catherine, Georgia and Carolyn, two nieces, Abigail and Brooklynn and one nephew, Benjamin.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 10th at 2 p.m. at Our Savior''s Lutheran Church, 5560 South 2300 West, Roy, with Pastor Chuck Sabin, officiating.

A viewing will be held at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South, on Sunday May 9th from 3 to 6 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m.

Interment, Hooper Cemetery, 5290 South 6300 West, Hooper, Utah, following the service.
