Graduate of University of New Mexico, 1959. Member of Utah Air National Guard. Worked as an Aeronautical Engineer with Boeing in Wichita, KS., as a Rocket Scientist on Minute Man Missiles with Hercules, Thiokol, CSD and TRW. He worked on the solid rocket fuel engines for the Space Shuttle program also while at Thiokol. Later in his career he converted and installed TRW jet engines to generate electricity in places all over the world: California, Texas, Minnesota, Ecuador, Mexico, Columbia, U.A.E. From 1970 to 1975 managed a Lodge Retreat in the Uinta Mountains at Spirit Lake. With his wife Lois, they traveled to Ireland, Peru, the Galapagos Islands, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Israel. They also ran white water rivers together, every river in the western U.S. He also enjoyed spring fishing at Lake Powell every year he could. A great storyteller, he always had one we had not heard, and they were always funny.

He leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Lois Smith, daughter Kim Lowe Seward and son Clayton Lowe, Grandchildren, Mandy Critchlow, Miranda Seward, Brady Seward and seven great grandchildren, Jalen, Isaac, Victoria (2002-2003), Emma, Wade, Amya and Riley.

You were the best Dad in the world. We will never forget how you taught us to water ski and all of the other memories.

Memorial for family and friends to share memories at Huntsville City Park on October 1, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.

Cremation entrusted to Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
