George C. Ramsey

George C. Ramsey SALT LAKE CITY – George Clifford Ramsey, 73, died Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City. He was born September 27, 1935 in Vernal, Utah, a son of George A. Ramsey and Lorna Ann Dow. George married Joan Thomson. They were later divorced. George enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, playing cards, cooking and of all of these interests, cooking was his greatest enjoyment. He was a great father and a wonderful grandpa and uncle. Surviving are one son, Walter Keith Ramsey, and four grandchildren, Jasmyne, Robi, Shalisa and Anthony. Also surviving are two brothers, Donnell Gary Ramsey and Wallace S. Pidcock, two nieces, Kristine and Tammy, and one nephew, Howard John. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, James Howard, Walter Keith, Dwight, and one sister, Mary Donna.
