Georgia K. Baxter entered into eternal rest on February 26, 2016.

She was born on December 20, 1919 in Soda Springs, Idaho, to Thomas and Laura Hallinan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Verl L.; son, Michael L; grandson, Michael S.; parents, and siblings. Georgia retired from a long career as a supply clerk at Hill Air Force Base. Her hobbies included traveling with friends, working in her garden, and sewing. She was extremely proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Georgia is survived by her son, Terry V. (Sarah) Baxter; daughter-in-law, Linda Baxter; granddaughter, Michele Baxter (partner Linda Clark); granddaughter, Colline (Steve) Prasad; and grandsons, Daniel and Matthew Baxter, and great-grandchildren, Claire and Michaela Prasad.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Interment, Lava Hot Springs Cemetery, Lava Hot Springs, ID.
