Georgia Faye Taylor McColloch

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Georgia Faye Taylor McColloch, 70, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2014.  She was born in Missouri on April 27, 1944 to Ira Omas Taylor and Grace Stewart Taylor. Georgia grew up in Wyoming but has lived in Ogden, Utah for 55 years.

Georgia married Jerry “Mac” McColloch on March 8, 1960 in Evanston, Wyoming.  They celebrated 54 wonderful years together in March.

She loved making jewelry and crafts.  Her greatest treasures were her kids and grandkids.

Georgia is survived by her loving husband, Jerry “Mac”; sons, Dan (Peggy) McColloch, Brett McColloch, and Brad (Selene) McColloch; daughters, Crystal McColloch and Marcy (Terry) Huckaby; 25 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, sister, Sherri; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Melanie May Patterson; grandson, Cody Brad McColloch; and parents, Ira Omas Taylor and Grace Stewart Taylor; brothers, Willard, Joe, and Delmar; and sisters, Carol, Ruth, Jean, and Lois.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden.
