Georgia Buzianis Rhodes

RIVERDALE a€" Georgia Buzianis Rhodes, 88, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. She was born on August 31, 1924 in Tooele, Utah, the daughter of Tom and Mary Panopulos Buzianis.

She married John Leslie Rhodes on November 20, 1962 in Elko, Nevada.

Georgia was a member of the Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church in South Ogden. She spent many hours serving the church in different capacities.

She retired from Hill Air Force Base after 40 years of service in Civilian Personnel.

Georgia was much loved and always busy. She enjoyed quilting and knitting. Gardner''s was her favorite store of all time.

Georgia is survived by her husband, John Rhodes; sons, Mike (Kathy) Rhodes and Danny Rhodes; daughter Rebecca Rhodes; sons-in-law, Rodney Musgrove and Randy Bunton; eight grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, brother, Gus Buzianis; sisters, Irene (Mike) Colbath and Letta Valkis and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Leslie Kay Bunton and Susan Colleen Musgrove; and brother, Louis Buzianis.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church, 674 42nd St. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. with Trisagion Service at 7 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Interment, Tooele City Cemetery.
