Gerald Lorenzo Lee
OGDEN a" Gerald Lorenzo Lee left his mortal afflictions for eternal peace on Sunday, December 14, 2008.
He was born February 3, 1934 in Logan, Utah to Lorenzo and Drucilla Lee.
Gerald spent most of his early childhood in Grouse Creek, Utah, where he cultivated his love of animals and agriculture. His family then moved to Ogden, where he completed his education and graduated from Ogden High School. He completed one year of college and four years of ROTC training before taking a job with the SP Railroad. His love of agriculture and dairy farming soon took him to Fallon, Nevada, various places in Cache Valley and eventually to Montello, Nevada. The past 11 years he has lived and worked in Pilot Valley, Nevada.
He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served in many callings.
Gerald is survived by his wife of 54 years, Verla Judkins Lee; four children, Ervin Brent (Barbara Ann) Lee, Wells, NV; Radine Lee (Kirk) Murphy, Wendover, UT; Tamra Lee (Scott L.) Smith, Forest Grove, OR; Lorena Lee (Paul) Breen, Jerome, ID; 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Robert Lee, Ogden; and Richard (Mildred) Lee, Sunset.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son, Gerald Curtis Lee.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 19th at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Friends and family may call Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
