Gerald M. Richards

Gerald M. Richards was a good man and well loved by all who knew him. The memories we share, will live on, as treasured times for all of us.

Gerald M. "Papa/Pop" Richards was born July 22, 1935 in Willard, Utah, the son of Edward and Verda Richards.

He was dearly loved by his wife of 55 years, Martha "Mickey" Murphy, whom he married on September 24, 1953 in Ogden.

Gerald enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Mickey, of Ogden; his children are: Janice (Jerry) Kennedy, Bambi (Chuck) Dinsdale, Nan (Steve) Searle, Misty (Eddie) Perez, Beth Richards, Jerry E. Richards (deceased), Jerry P. (Colleen) Richards; 14 wonderful grandchildren and 11 super, great-grandchildren. Gerald has two brothers, Blaine Richards and Virgil Richards (deceased).

Gerald knew many children, grown-ups, and others whom he considered part of his own family, who will remember and cherish him. Gerald has not left us a€" he has just gone ahead, to scope out the next fishin hole for his family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross.
