Geraldene Miller Esplin

Geraldene Miller Esplin passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones on March 25, 2021. She was born on July 13, 1934 in North Platte, Nebraska, daughter of William Herold Miller and Gladys Idella Cooper. During her life she lived in North Platte NE, Clovis CA, Fresno, CA, Ogden, UT, Roy UT, and most recently Harrisville UT.
She married Gerald Austin Esplin on October 11, 1968 in Evanston, WY. They enjoyed many activities together including bowling, playing cards, camping, golfing, boating, waterskiing, fishing and snowmobiling. They also had the opportunity to camp host at Boulder Mountain in Utah and Cascade Lake in Idaho. They enjoyed reunions and spending time with family and friends.
She worked for the Internal Revenue Service for many years in management, retiring in November of 1990.
Her hobbies and interest included crossword puzzles, reading, crocheting, embroidery, and fabric painting. She lovingly created many afghans, baby blankets, dish towels and wash cloths for her family. She loved her Church, Bible Study and the friends she made there.
Geraldene is survived by her husband, Gerald; children, Tom (Donnalee) Larsen, Larry Larsen, Roger Harrop, Sherrie Owens and Lana (Chet) Hunsaker; 9 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Darlene Bacon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Herold Miller and Gladys Idella Cooper.
Services for family and close friends will be held Saturday April 3, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. Roy Christian Church 4347 S 1900 W Roy, UT.
