Geraldine Reynolds Bassett, 88, passed away in Clinton, Utah. She was born February 10, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Andrew S Reynolds and Reva Louise Densley Reynolds. She Married Earl Dean Bassett on June 15, 1956 in Ogden, Utah. They were later sealed in the Ogden Temple June 15, 1974. He passed away November 17, 2012.
Survived by five children, Deborah Lynne Bassett (Garland) Imlay, Lona Bassett (Steven) Barnes, Vione Bassett, David Earl Bassett (Donna), Jeffrey Glen Bassett (Pete Tefertiller-Bassett), Vada Bassett, Willis Bassett; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard Densley Reynolds (Dawna Jeleane Vaughn) and one sister, Carolyn Reynolds (Eldon)Thompson.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Sherol Anne; step-daughter, Ellen Wendell; brother, Robert Brakefield; sisters, Patricia Joan Reynolds and Clarisa Reynolds (mom’s twin).
We would like to thank all the staff of Barrington Place in Clinton, Utah and A1 Hospice, Nicole, Kristi, and Kristina for all the loving care they gave to our mother. They were all a blessing to our Mother and to us.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
