Geraldine “Gerri” Bush OGDEN – Geraldine “Gerri” Elizabeth Calkins Bush, 67, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2007 at Infinia Health Care in Ogden. She was born June 1, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio, a daughter of Alta May Knapp and Gilman E. Calkins. Gerri grew up in Lakewood, Ohio and graduated from Lakewood High School where she was Concert Mistress of the school’s orchestra for her gifted violin playing. She was subsequently offered two scholarships to Ohio colleges for her incredible talent. Gerri was also a very accomplished pianist and loved being a member of Sweet Adelines for a few years. Gerri spent a large part of her life in Colorado Springs, Colorado with her children and thrived on the beauty of the wondrous Rocky Mountains. She was a successful realtor for many years. Surviving are three children, Deanna Gayle (Reynolds) Holtz, Olathe, KS; Robin LeAnn (Reynolds) Reeves, San Antonio, TX; and Timothy Ray Reynolds, Washington Terrace, UT; and six grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Stewart E. Calkins, Conshohocken, PA. Gerri was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial services were held Monday.
