Gerardina Abramo SALT LAKE CITY--Gerardina Abramo, 91, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2008, from causes incident to age. She was born February 16, 1917, in Militello in Val di Catania, Italy, the daughter of Santo and Salvatrice Lo Tauro. She married Joseph Abramo on December 18, 1947, in Militello in Val di Catania. He passed away October 6, 1974. Gerardina was a resident of Ogden, Utah, for 47 years. She excelled in the noble roles of wife, mother, and homemaker. She loved to keep a garden. Mrs. Abramo was a devoted member of the Roman Catholic Church. She became a citizen of the United States on March 12, 1969. She is survived by a daughter, Maria (Milo) Wright and a son, Joseph Abramo, both of Salt Lake City, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park and Mausoleum, 4500 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah. It is requested that no flowers be sent. Funeral Directors, Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
