Gerardo Reyes, Jr. “J.J.” CLEARFIELD – Gerardo Reyes, Jr. “J.J.”, 14, died Thursday, April 22, 2010 in Clearfield of injuries sustained from an accident. He was born July 8, 1995 in Ogden, a son of Gerardo Sr. and Dolores Delgado. Gerardo was a ninth grade student in the Davis County School District. Gerardo enjoyed playing football and enjoyed working on his 1979 Buick Regal. He worked hard to earn money so he could work on his car. He always dreamed of one day playing for the Philadelphia Eagles Football Team. Gerardo loved his little brother Eric, his little sister Rosie and stepsister Anjelyka. He loved his Godfather Albino and his Godmother Lorena. Gerardo also enjoyed spending time with his many cousins, aunts, uncles, his Aunt Nicky and his special Uncle Sam. Surviving are his mother, Dolores Delgado, his father and stepmother, Gerardo Sr. and Jessica Reyes; one brother, Eric, one sister, Rosie, and one step-sister Anjelyka. Also surviving are his grandparents, David Leo (Leticia) Reyes, Teresa Alejandre, great-grandma, Dora Reyes, step-grandmother, Merlyne Valdez, and great-grandparents, Jose and Lidia Alejandre. Gerardo was preceded in death by his grandparents, Antonio C. and Sara Delgado, one great-great-grandfather, Vincent Reyes, Sr., and his uncles, Eric John Delgado and Ray Martinez. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Family will visit with friends at the mortuary on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
