CLEARFIELD – Geronimo A. Rodriguez passed away at the age of 93 on June 14, 2018, at his home with his current wife Glenda and family by his side.

Jerry was born on July 16, 1923 in Jerez Zac, Mexico.  He married Ramona Ceballos on April 16, 1947 in Jerez Zac, Mexico.  He was preceded in death by his wife Ramona and son Geronimo Jr.  Jerry loved to fish and grow a summer garden, which he shared with family and friends.  He had a lot of friends who visited him often.  A highlight of Jerry’s life was when he became a U. S. Citizen at the age of 91.

Surviving in death are his current wife Glenda Rodriguez and her children.  Glenda has three children: Jacqueline (Adrian) Salgado and their three children; Melisa (Hector) Moreno and their three children, and Jordan Aguliar.

Jerry and Ramona had four children; Maria (Rudy) Gurule, Layton, Ruben Rodriguez, Clearfield, Rosa (Rick) Lettig, Clinton, and Javier (Katrina) Rodriguez, Clearfield,  12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, One great-great-grandchild with one on the way.

We will miss a gentle giant of a man with a big heart.  We Love You Grandpa Jerry.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 South Chapel Street, Layton, Utah.  Friends may visit family Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah.  A Vigil with Rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m.
