Gina Talbot Smedley

Gina Talbot Smedley was born on April 20, 1961 to Glen and JoAnn Talbot in Ogden, Utah. She passed away very peacefully with family and friend, KayLynn Anderson, by her side. She is survived by her husband Rex Smedley; her pride and joy, her daughter, Natasha Smedley; granddaughter, Zariah; stepdaughter, Desha Smedley from Hot Springs, AR; father, Glen Talbot, two sisters, Charol (Brad) Omer and Tammy (Jay) Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, Cliff and Martha Talbot, Ogden, UT; and Jack and Francis Wheelwright, Ogden, UT; stepson, Ty Smedley; and her mom, JoAnn (Beasley) Talbot.

Gina''s love for life has touched many friends all over the world. She displayed her love for the Lord, everyday in her fight against cancer and was willing to display it for everyone to see and witness the goodness of God.

She will always be missed but never forgotten!! To all the staff and physicians involved in her treatment, we say, Thank You!!

In lieu of flowers, we have established a Gina Smedley Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo in America.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
